Excellent Digital SLR Lens
This is an excellent  Digital SLR Lens. I’ve only used it a little bit, but the macro mode is excellent, and the pics at full telephoto are super sharp at f8. I need some time with this lens to take better pics, but what I will say right off the bat, it’s really hard to believe that the lens is in the olympus ’standard’ category. Yes, it is slow in AF, and it is optically slow, but the build quality is outstanding. It has a nice, hefty, quality feel to it, and a smooth operation. It is true, the manual focus mode steps, which is a bit frustrating, but if you can’t compensate by rocking a bit back and forth, I don’t know what to say. At under $300.00, this lens really is a steal!
