Incredible price on Olympus Zuiko ED SLR Camera Lens

I bought this digital slr lens. It turned out I was wrong and had to do it on the Amazon Store Card to get those repayment terms. I was going to send it back, but I decided to try the digital slr lens out with my camera. I instantly fell in love with the results! There was no way I could ever send this digital slr lens back! It is now my favorite lens.

I photograph many events that involve lots of people like parties and reunions. Many times these situations involve lots of people in close quarters. I bought this digital slr lens primarily for the purpose of being able to shoot a restaurant table full of people within close quarters, and yet get everyone included in the frame, without any of the rectilinear or pin cushion distortion one would encounter with most extreme wide angle lenses.

This digital slr lens by Zuiko from Olympus proved to be the answer to my prayers. I love this digital slr lens! There is some distortion that appears to stretch the width of the subjects at the edge of the frame particularly in 7mm mode, but like any lens there is a learning curve that one has to experience to find the sweet spot of a new tool, and this digital slr lens is a great tool. I photograph the Graduate Student Events for Baruch College.

I am an MBA student there too. Just type the words Baruch College Photos into Google and click on the 1st few links to see some of the photos taken with this digital slr lens. I use Olympus cameras and lenses only. The Zuiko digital slr lens 7 - 14 mm is top notch on my list.

Best camera reviews.I have been using a film SLR (Pentax) camera for some time and wanted to graduate over to a digital SLR. I went around looking for a beginners digital SLR and had to choose from Sony A300, canon rebel xti digital camera and Nikon D60. Looking at the prices and the reviews I decided to buy the Sony A300. One of my more accomplished friends bought the Canon XSi at the same time while another of my friends swore by a Nikon. But after a few months, I have realized that for over 95% of our photos the Sony is just as good, if not better than the Canon or the Nikon, and about 20% cheaper. Also, the image stabilization is awesome and since the stabilizer is in the body, and not in the lens, each individual lens is way lighter. The sensor is as good as the Nikon one and maybe a hair less sensitive than the canon one in very low lights (noticeable at 1600 ISO or over). But, I have realized that a 1600 ISO picture is important low light conditions and mostly when all efforts to improve exposure fails, making it very rare. So it is not worth the 20% of price difference for me.

So got this little baby a few days ago… it arrived right on time and was well packaged. Took it out for a little test spin the next day… all I can say is oh my god wow this canon 1d is the best canon dslr camera I have every had the privlige of using! I had the canon digital slr rebel, the 1ds mark iii, and now this camera… it is by far the best camera slr reviews I have ever used…. it takes fantastic photos. This will be my primary slr camera for years to come… it is great! if you can stomach the price, you will not be disapointed one bit!!!

I have been using a Powershot I2 IS for the last 3 years. Very good slr camera with a fantastic 12X Zoom. However, I wanted a camera to carry in my pocket. So many times I just didn’t feel like dragging a large camera with me to various parties or events. This camera fills the bill. I carry it everywhere.

The pictures it produces are stunning. The 8MP 3X zoom produces a picture that you can crop to the point that you get almost the same picture as you would have with the 5MP 12X zoom lense (my opinion). The movie feature is wonderful too, even better than the I2 IS.

The Slr camera feels great in your hand with a solid, quality feeling. If you have used Canon cameras before the menus are very intuitive. I would not have purchased this canon sd1100is (or any camera for that matter) if it did not have the Image Stabilization feature. This is especially a must as you get older.

By the way there is an advantage to the Brown color: If you have to use the optical view finder outside, the camera itself produces minimum glare for you eye to see more clearly through the small opening. The color also makes the LCD playback pop. And as a bonus, it really gives the slr camera a luxury look, you have to see it in person to appreciate the color.

I recently took it to a monthly card party and everyone went wild over it. So much so that one person sat right down at the computer and ordered one! If you want a sub-compact, pocketable camera that takes great pictures, I highly recommend the canon powershot sd1100is.
